Bukkawaste is a wholly owned proprietary digital application designed for homeowners and business owners to easily and conveniently book and pay for their waste collections at the click of a button. Its main features include “book collections, manage collection and secure payments” with Worldpay and Paypal.

The Client

Our UK client, Bukkawaste Ltd, approached us for developing a waste management digital application that would help home owners dispose off their waste by contacting Bukkawaste Ltd and having it collected by Bukkawaste or its contractors

Challenges We Faced

Perhaps the most important challenge with this project was to modify and implement new features without affecting existing customers, keeping the initial version safe. Fortunately we made sure that our team was always monitoring the existing application and was able to proactively fix certain issues before customers would have reported it.

Smartest way to manage your waste
Our Process

Initially we were asked to develop an app where customers could place their orders (bookings) via bukka app (both android and iOS) so that admin can assign drivers in proper routes and make bukka collection easy. After several rounds of discussions with the client and all the functionalities clearly explained, we moved on to developing mockups of all necessary pages inside the Bukka application. With the mockups approved, we got to work on coding and designing the application following the agile development process. Once we had enough information to create a site map, we created one and used it as the backbone of the app development project.

Hosting the Application

Finally we were able to successfully host ‘Bukkawaste’ application as a complete digital solution designed for homeowners and business owners to easily and conveniently book and pay for their waste collections at the click of a button. Key features include

  • The Bukkawaste Application provides all of the necessary functions that a domestic /commercial customer requires to make their waste collection booking easier.
  • Bukka collections and cancellations of bookings can be captured via the application and updated at any time.
  • Effective route management in the back-end helps assigning of routes to a customer and driver for collection.
  • The web based application can be accessed from any place where internet access is available.
