REACH, a borderless yacht club, sought to develop a transformative system that redefines its members’ connection to the water. The goal was to deliver a curated suite of premium services designed to enhance the user experience—while significantly reducing costs. Its diverse membership spans boaters, competitive racers, professionals within the yachting industry, and watersports enthusiasts of all levels.

Summary

Reach Solution operates as a virtual members club which incorporates various membership services facilitating connections including access to the sailing experts (“Experts”), access to the job site (“Cruz”), access to the commercial brand associates with promotional opportunities (“Chandlery”), access to Charters (“Charter”), and the general sailing community Services within the Reach Solution.

Our primary objective was to design a comprehensive digital solution that effectively addresses the needs of this dynamic community. Additionally, we aimed to develop a robust admin panel to facilitate the management of all website functionalities, including content administration.

Our Process

As with all our projects, we began with a comprehensive project discovery phase. Following a series of in-depth discussions and a clear understanding of the required functionalities, we proceeded to design mockups for all key pages within the REACH web application. Once the mockups received client approval, we initiated the development and design process, adhering to an agile methodology.

Client-specific features were integrated as modular components throughout the development cycle. Upon gathering sufficient information, we structured a detailed site map, which served as the foundation for the entire web development project.

Simultaneously, we commenced development of the iOS and Android applications. These mobile solutions focused on enabling user registration and providing access to the community, discounts, services, knowledge, recruitment, and more.

The feedback on this project has been overwhelmingly positive. The client expressed a high level of satisfaction with the web application and its full range of functionalities. As a result, they have chosen to continue partnering with us for post-launch website management and ongoing enhancements. Phase two of the development is currently in progress.
